Adventure Survival Skills - After-school Session
Students will embark with experts on an 8-week adventure survival training journey to learn crucial skills for navigating and thriving in the wilderness. Learn how to effectively respond if you ever find yourself lost, including techniques for orienteering, and signaling for help.
Throughout the program, your children will participate in a variety of activities, including:
Wilderness Navigation: Learning to read maps and compasses and understanding how to navigate through different terrains.
Shelter Building: Constructing safe and effective shelters using natural materials.
Fire Safety and Building: Mastering the art of building and maintaining a fire safely.
First Aid: Basic first aid training to handle common outdoor injuries and emergencies.
Knife Safety Training: Teaching proper handling, maintenance, and use of knives for various survival tasks, always emphasizing safety.
Nerf Hatchet and Axe Safety: Handling and throwing techniques at targets with kid safe, plastic hatchets.
Bow and Arrow Safety: Training with age-appropriate products to help with hand, eye coordination to increase target skills.
Teamwork and Leadership: Engaging in group challenges that promote teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills as well as many other programs toward safety training and awareness.
Safety is our top priority at Adventure Survival Training. All activities are supervised by experienced instructors who are trained in first aid and emergency response. We maintain a low instructor-to-student ratio to ensure personalized attention and support for every child.
In addition to learning practical survival skills, your children will have the opportunity to build lasting friendships, develop confidence, and create unforgettable memories. We believe that these experiences are invaluable in shaping resilient, resourceful, and confident individuals.
At the end of the camp, we will host a two-day competition where the children can showcase the new abilities they have learned in a team format. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. We highly encourage you to attend this exciting event if you are able.
